About the role
Great clothes start with great cloth. You will source the fabrics, linings and trims for our ready-to-wear, bespoke and unstitched lines, and make sure what we buy arrives on time, to specification and at the right cost.
What you will do
- Source fabrics, linings and trims to each collection brief, with swatches, costings and lead times
- Build and maintain our approved vendor list, and review vendors who miss dates or quality
- Raise and track purchase orders from sample to bulk until goods are received and checked
- Keep the swatch library and fabric records in order, so designers can find what we have
- Negotiate prices and minimums, and keep costings current for pricing decisions
- Work closely with design, production and finance on stock and consumption
What you will bring
- 2–4 years in textile sourcing, buying or merchandising
- Knowledge of fibres, weaves, finishes and fabric testing
- A network among Pakistan's mills and fabric markets — or the drive to build one
- Numerate and organised, and confident with spreadsheets
- Willing to travel within Pakistan
Nice to have
- Experience with premium menswear or export suppliers
- Experience with Zoho Inventory or an ERP
What we offer
- Paid annual, casual, sick and festival leave
- Maternity and paternity leave on full pay
- Annual performance review and company bonus
- Staff discount across Mohtaram
- A written career path, with monthly one-to-ones and quarterly reviews
